The National Postal Museum is a Smithsonian institution that was in need of a visual identity refresh. The museum strives to be a place of education and accessibility for all. Telling the history of our nation through the lens of the system that has moved our mail for decades. The building itself is rich in history being that it was once a US Post Office that now carries the history of the system itself. It is filled with the postal motif, with little nods to classic postage symbols seen throughout the building.
